FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT (FDD)

The Value of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) in years past was called the Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC). Today, we commonly refer to the FDD as the baseline from where all things begin. Our FDD is updated annually, and most of you will review the Master FDD unless you are in a registration state that requires us to be registered with that State to be able to award franchises there.

Buying a franchise is a complex investment. The information in the FDD is there to help you decide if our franchise is a good fit for you and verify that you are a good fit for us. We will be glad to provide you the FDD provided you feel you are sincerely interested in our franchise. We grant franchises for the right to photograph families, children and youth involved in child care centers, sports, schools, clubs, and other youth-related organizations. Our franchise owners also do other types and styles of photography.

When you are considering any franchise, you need to include the study and review of the FDD in that process. The FDD allows us at Lil’ Angels to be open and honest with you, and you are able to see upfront what we do and what we are all about. As you go through the three main sections of the FDD, you will have everything about us disclosed in the front section. In the middle part of the FDD, we reveal to you our financial health, and are proud of where we are today. In the last section, you will get to review the actual sample of our contract that you would be signing. We make it easy for you to see everything about us, and maintain a transparent presence through the entire decision-making process.

We ask one favor of you as you go through the Franchise Disclosure Document. As you may know, it is a very lengthy document with over 90 pages of information. As you review the entire document, use a highlighter or pen, and mark any section that has a higher degree of interest to you. Then, pick up the telephone and give us a call at (404) 567-1704 and let’s go over those concerns together. Going through this process is important, and there is no reason for anyone to make wrong assumptions or be confused.

The great thing is that we are here to assist you. We will walk you through the process of purchasing a franchise. You will be a viable part of the entire process, and we are always looking ahead to the relationship we are beginning with each other now. The FDD is very important and it is one item you will come back to during your ten (10) year contract with Lil’ Angels. It is your guidebook and trusted document that will help you in one of the most important decisions of your life.
